The Congress of National Future, a unique event organised by the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) under the motto “History speaks through generations”, took place on 15–16 October 2025 at the Sports Bay of the Łódź University of Technology. The event brought together nearly 5,000 participants.

One of the highlights of the Congress was the presentation of the acclaimed IPN exhibition “Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom”, which tells the story of the extraordinary journey of Polish soldiers, civilians, and refugees during World War II.

The exhibition, shown in dozens of countries around the world, illustrates the path of the Polish Armed Forces from the Soviet Union, through the Middle East and Africa, to Europe, symbolising the universal message of courage, sacrifice, and the pursuit of freedom.

The Congress also showcased the IPN’s innovative use of new technologies in historical education. Through interactive displays, digital archives, multimedia storytelling, and virtual reality tools, the Institute presented how modern technology can bring history closer to young audiences and inspire them to explore the past in a dynamic, engaging way.

Polish Sue took part in the Congress, continuing its mission of promoting Polish history abroad and engaging young generations in learning about the legacy of the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
Through educational projects and community initiatives, Polish Sue contributes to strengthening Polish-British relations and preserving the memory of those who fought for freedom.

The event was honoured by the presence of the President of the Republic of Poland, who announced a new IPN initiative dedicated to young people, aimed at inspiring future generations to explore national history and build a strong sense of identity rooted in shared values and remembrance.

The Congress also underlined the growing importance of the IPN’s international outreach, including its cooperation with Polish communities and institutions abroad.

Through global exhibitions, partnerships, and educational programmes, the Institute continues to promote Poland’s history and the legacy of its heroes around the world — ensuring that the voices of past generations remain alive and relevant today.
