This October marks the anniversary of the high distinction “Ambassador of Polish History”, which Polish Sue proudly received in 2024 from the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) — in recognition of our efforts to promote Polish history in Great Britain.
The award was presented to us at the British Parliament by Dr Karol Nawrocki, then President of the IPN, who later became the President of Poland. It was, and always will be, an unforgettable moment, one that will remain forever in our memory and heart.

The ceremonial decoration of the laureates took place in October 2024 at the British Parliament in London, during the opening of the IPN’s international exhibition “Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom.”

The international “Ambassador of Polish History” award is an honorary distinction established by the IPN’s President. It recognises individuals and organisations for their outstanding contribution to commemorating the history of the Polish Nation and supporting the IPN in its research and educational mission.
This prestigious title is granted to those active outside Poland, who are dedicated to preserving, promoting, and sharing knowledge of Poland’s modern history, and to uncovering forgotten stories and heroes who have rendered great service to the Polish Nation.

The award for Polish Sue was received by Iwona Golińska, Founder and President of the Polish Sue Association. We remain deeply honoured and proud to carry the torch of Polish memory abroad.
