Instytut Pamięci Narodowej realizuje ogólnopolski program edukacyjny „Silni Polską!”, którego celem jest rozwijanie wiedzy historycznej i tożsamości narodowej młodego pokolenia. Projekt skierowany jest do młodzieży w wieku 13–19 lat i łączy naukę historii z aktywnym działaniem w społecznościach lokalnych.
Uczestnicy programu biorą udział w warsztatach edukacyjnych, organizują własne projekty historyczne, wystawy, gry terenowe i koncerty patriotyczne, odkrywając często zapomniane karty lokalnej historii. Najlepsze zespoły spotykają się następnie podczas gali finałowej w Warszawie, gdzie prezentują swoje osiągnięcia i otrzymują wyróżnienia od IPN.
W pierwszej edycji wzięło udział ponad 2 200 młodych uczestników z całej Polski. Program spotkał się z ogromnym zainteresowaniem szkół, instytucji i środowisk lokalnych.
Z przedstawicielami programu „Silni Polską!” spotkaliśmy się podczas Kongresu IPN w Łodzi – wyjątkowego wydarzenia pod nazwą „Kongres Przyszłości Narodowej”, które zgromadziło kilka tysięcy uczestników, głównie młodych ludzi z całej Polski.
To wydarzenie, pełne energii i pasji, pokazało, że historia może być inspiracją dla przyszłości. Kongres stał się miejscem ważnych spotkań, debat i prezentacji nowoczesnych projektów edukacyjnych IPN.
Swoją obecnością Kongres zaszczycił Prezydent Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej dr Karol Nawrocki, który podczas wizyty ogłosił powołanie Rady Młodzieży przy Prezydencie RP – nowej platformy współpracy i dialogu z młodym pokoleniem.
To znakomita inicjatywa Prezydenta – inwestycja w młodzież i w przyszłość Polski, która pokazuje, że głos młodych ludzi ma znaczenie w budowaniu nowoczesnego, świadomego społeczeństwa.
Polish Sue promuje podobne działania edukacyjne w Wielkiej Brytanii.
Stowarzyszenie Polish Sue od lat prowadzi liczne inicjatywy edukacyjne wśród młodzieży polonijnej. Organizuje konkursy plastyczne i historyczne oraz warsztaty tematyczne poświęcone m.in. historii ORP Błyskawica i Polskich Sił Zbrojnych na Zachodzie.
Podczas tych spotkań uczniowie mają okazję poznawać bohaterów polskiej historii, rozwijać swoje pasje oraz uczyć się, jak pielęgnować pamięć o wydarzeniach, które łączą Polskę i Wielką Brytanię. Polish Sue regularnie uczestniczy także w konsultacjach historycznych i projektach edukacyjnych organizowanych w ramach obchodów Dni ORP Błyskawica, współpracując z nauczycielami, muzeami i organizacjami kombatanckimi.
Podczas Kongresu mieliśmy również okazję rozmawiać z dr Adamem Pleskaczyńskim, Szefem Edukacji IPN i koordynatorem programu „Silni Polską!”.
W rozmowie dr Pleskaczyński podkreślił, że IPN już pracuje nad przeniesieniem projektu na grunt międzynarodowy, tak aby w przyszłości mogli w nim uczestniczyć także młodzi Polacy mieszkający poza krajem.
„Chcemy, aby młodzież polonijna w Europie również mogła rozwijać swoje projekty, poznawać historię Polski i współpracować z rówieśnikami z kraju w ramach programu „Silni Polską!”

“Strong with Poland!” – the IPN’s educational program inspires patriotism among young people. Polish Sue supports similar initiatives in the UK.
The Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) implements the nationwide educational program “Strong with Poland!”, which aims to develop historical knowledge and national identity among the younger generation. The project is aimed at young people aged 13–19 and combines history learning with active participation in local communities.
Program participants participate in educational workshops, organize their own historical projects, exhibitions, field games, and patriotic concerts, uncovering often-forgotten pages of local history. The best teams then gather at the final gala in Warsaw, where they present their achievements and receive awards from the IPN.
Over 2,200 young participants from across Poland participated in the first edition. The program was met with enormous interest from schools, institutions, and local communities.
With representatives of the “Strong with Poland!” program We met during the IPN Congress in Łódź – a unique event called the “Congress of the National Future,” which brought together several thousand participants, primarily young people from across Poland.
This event, brimming with energy and passion, demonstrated that history can inspire the future. The Congress became a venue for important meetings, debates, and presentations of the IPN’s modern educational projects.
The Congress was honored by the presence of the President of the Republic of Poland, Dr. Karol Nawrocki, who during his visit announced the establishment of the Youth Council to the President of the Republic of Poland – a new platform for cooperation and dialogue with the young generation.
This is an excellent initiative by the President – an investment in young people and the future of Poland, demonstrating that the voice of young people matters in building a modern, informed society.
Polish Sue promotes similar educational activities in the UK.
The Polish Sue Association has been conducting numerous educational initiatives among Polish youth for years. It organizes art and history competitions and thematic workshops devoted to topics such as the history of the ORP Błyskawica and the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
During these meetings, students have the opportunity to meet heroes of Polish history, develop their passions, and learn how to cultivate the memory of events that unite Poland and the United Kingdom. Polish Sue also regularly participates in historical consultations and educational projects organized as part of the ORP Błyskawica Days celebrations, collaborating with teachers, museums, and veterans’ organizations.

During the Congress, we also had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Pleskaczyński, Head of Education at the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) and coordinator of the “Strong with Poland!” program.
During the conversation, Dr. Pleskaczyński emphasized that the IPN is already working on taking the project international, so that young Poles living abroad can also participate in the future.
“We want young Polish diasporas in Europe to be able to develop their own projects, learn about Polish history, and collaborate with their peers from Poland as part of the “Strong with Poland!” program,” said Dr. Pleskaczyński in an interview with Iwona Golińska – President of Polish Sue.
For Polish communities in the UK, the opportunity to participate in this program is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen ties with Poland and deepen their knowledge of its history.
