During a meeting between the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, and representatives of the Polish community, held at the National Army Museum in London, state decorations were presented to individuals distinguished for their service to Polish diaspora communities in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

We are proud to announce that Iwona Golińska, President and Founder of Polish SUE, was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit in recognition of her long-standing commitment to the Polish community and her dedication to promoting Polish history, culture, and national traditions.

Founded in 2016, Polish SUE has remained faithful to its mission of preserving historical memory, commemorating the Polish Armed Forces in the West, honouring those who served Poland and the cause of freedom, and strengthening lasting ties between the Polish community in the United Kingdom and its British friends and partners.
– I regard this honour as both a great privilege and a profound responsibility. It is a further motivation to continue fulfilling the mission of Polish SUE: serving historical truth, nurturing Polish heritage, and strengthening Polish–British relations in a spirit of honesty, respect, and responsibility for remembrance – said Iwona Golińska.

Polish SUE extends its sincere thanks to President Karol Nawrocki for recognising service to the Polish diaspora, as well as to all individuals, institutions, and partners who continue to support our work and help build a community founded on memory, identity, and service.

Polish SUE is a UK-based community organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting Polish history, with a particular focus on the legacy of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. The organisation delivers educational projects, exhibitions, commemorative events, and initiatives that foster dialogue and cooperation between the Polish community and British society.
