W Polskim Ośrodku Społeczno-Kulturalnym w Londynie odbyły się uroczyste obchody Narodowego Święta Niepodległości 2025, upamiętniające 107. rocznicę odzyskania przez Polskę wolności.

Uroczystość była pełna wzruszeń, dumy i patriotycznego ducha. 

Zespół Watra zachwycił publiczność pięknym wykonaniem pieśni narodowych i ludowych, tworząc wyjątkową atmosferę jedności i miłości do Ojczyzny.

Maria Suchcitz, w roli konferansjerki, poprowadziła wydarzenie z wielkim wyczuciem i elegancją, łącząc refleksję historyczną z artystycznym programem.

Szczególne wrażenie wywarły wystąpienia harcerzy, którzy przypomnieli o wartościach odwagi, służby i wolności – fundamentach niepodległej Polski. Ich zaangażowanie i postawa poruszyły serca wszystkich uczestników.

Mottem uroczystości stały się słowa „Serce roście…”, symbolizujące radość, wdzięczność i dumę z polskiej historii oraz nieustannego ducha narodu.

Na zakończenie organizatorzy złożyli podziękowania wszystkim osobom i instytucjom zaangażowanym w przygotowanie wydarzenia.

Szczególne podziękowania należą się organizatorom – Alicji Donimirskiej prezes Zjednoczenia Polskiego w Wielkiej Brytanii oraz Polskim organizacjom w Londynie, harcerzom, zespołowi Watra, POSK-owi oraz wszystkim, którzy przyczynili się do stworzenia tej pięknej, wspólnotowej uroczystości.

To była wspaniale zorganizowana, pełna emocji i patriotyzmu uroczystość, która po raz kolejny zjednoczyła londyńską Polonię wokół wspólnego świętowania wolnej Polski. 

W duchu misji Polish Sue przypominamy, że pielęgnowanie pamięci i tradycji to nie tylko obowiązek, ale i przywilej — most łączący przeszłość z teraźniejszością, który umacnia więzi Polaków na emigracji.

National Independence Day 2025 Celebrations at POSK in London

The Polish Social and Cultural Centre in London hosted the 2025 National Independence Day celebrations, commemorating the 107th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence.

The ceremony was filled with emotion, pride, and patriotic spirit.

The Watra ensemble captivated the audience with a beautiful performance of national and folk songs, creating a unique atmosphere of unity and love for the homeland.

Maria Suchcitz, as the master of ceremonies, led the event with great sensitivity and elegance, combining historical reflection with an artistic program.

The performances of the Scouts were particularly impressive, recalling the values of courage, service, and freedom – the foundations of an independent Poland. Their commitment and attitude touched the hearts of all participants.

The motto of the ceremony was “The Heart Grows…”, symbolizing joy, gratitude, and pride in Polish history and the enduring spirit of the nation.

In conclusion, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all the people and institutions involved in preparing the event.

Special thanks are due to the organizers – Alicja Donimirska, President of the Polish Association in Great Britain, and Polish organizations in London, the Scouts, the Watra band, POSK, and all those who contributed to creating this beautiful, communal celebration.

It was a wonderfully organized ceremony, full of emotion and patriotism, which once again united the Polish community in London around a shared celebration of a free Poland.
