We had the great pleasure of attending the VIP Opening Gala of the Polish Jazz Festival – London 2026 at the prestigious Cadogan Hall on 11 September.
It was a truly wonderful evening celebrating the richness, creativity and international appeal of Polish jazz and contemporary music.
The Gala featured outstanding performances by EABS, Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet and the exceptionally talented Anna Maria Jopek, whose opening concert created a beautiful and memorable start to the Festival.
One of the highlights of the evening was also the opportunity to meet Kasia Madera, a distinguished Polish-British BBC reporter, who hosted the evening with great
professionalism and warmth.
We had the opportunity to speak with her, exchange views about Polish music and jazz, and enjoy a wonderful evening together with the organisers and invited guests.
The Gala also gave us the chance to meet many fascinating representatives of Polish culture, art and the creative community, making the evening not only a celebration of music but also a wonderful opportunity to build connections and exchange ideas.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the organisers for inviting us to such a fantastic celebration, and in particular to Blanka Konopka – director of Polish Cultural Institute in London and everyone involved in bringing this remarkable Festival to London.
Our gratitude goes to the Polish Cultural Institute, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Polish Cultural Foundation and all the partners, artists, guests and supporters who contributed to this exceptional event.

Today, we look forward to enjoying more outstanding Polish music, including concerts by Kayah and Urszula Dudziak.
It is wonderful to see Polish jazz and Polish music bringing together audiences in London and showcasing the extraordinary talent and creativity of Poland on the international stage.
